This breeding has a 10 Generation COI of 6.69%. Our goal in this breeding is to produce intuitive stockdogs who can also excel in Obedience, Agility and other dog sports. My expectation is that puppies will have natural working instinct on all types of stock, and plenty of drive in obedience, agility and other dog sports. This litter combines some of my favourite dogs, with Mooshka being a half-sibling to Rubin and Cerise through their sire Quinn. Sterling’s previous litter was out of Mooshka’s aunt Izzy. Both parents are very loyal, owner focused dogs who are very willing to please, and easy to live with at home. Puppies confirmed by ultrasound, due August 26th, 2017. This is a co-bred litter with Juba Creek Aussies, and will be whelped and raised in Arizona. All colours possible. Puppies will be eligible for ASCA, AKC and CKC registration. Sterling is from a long line of proven stockdogs, his dam WTCH-X Sweetgrass Painted Blue Skye PATDs OFTDs ATDMcs ATDXs DNA-CP was 2013 and 2014 ASCA National Sheep Champion, and his older full sister WTCH-X Sliding S Land’s End Sure Shot PATDcs OFTDcs DNA-VP was the 2016 Supreme Champion Stockdog at ASCA stock finals. Sterling has a great work ethic and is always looking to please. He has accomplished a lot for a young dog with limited trialing. He is easy to live with, relaxes when not on the job but always ready to get up and go. He has had one litter, his puppies are showing natural talent in herding, as well as agility and obedience. Mooshka was bred by my friend Irene Manley at Frogpeak Aussies. I helped raise her litter, and got to know these puppies very well. Sterling was still a puppy when this litter was growing up, and Mooshka had the biggest crush on him. She would follow him around all over the yard trying to get him to play with her. We used to joke they were betrothed from childhood. Mooshka has a very sweet temperament and gets along well with other dogs. She is very biddbale, has great distance and a natural circle on stock. She is easy on her stock and enjoys working with her owner to get the job done. Her athletic build lends itself well to herding, as well as performance, and she has several littermates actively competing in agility. She will start trialing on stock this fall after her litter. Mooshka is a full sibling to Frogpeak’s Mighty Swift STDcds OFTDs JS-N RS-N, who was 1st place in started sheep at the 2016 ASCA Nationals, and an MVA Qualifier.
